Terms of Service

1 Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Mini's World ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2 The service

Mini's World is an AI agent platform. Users define "Minis" — AI agents with roles, knowledge, and tool access — that operate inside the user's accounts to draft messages, summarize device events, automate workflows, and assist with day-to-day household and small-business tasks.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You may add household members under 18 to features that explicitly support family use (such as Kitchen Mini), subject to the safety guardrails described in our Privacy Policy.
• You must reside in a jurisdiction where the service is lawful.

3 Your account

• One account per person. Don't share credentials.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including any actions taken by Minis you have configured.
• Notify us promptly at founder@minisworld.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Keep your contact email accurate — it's the channel we use for security and billing notices.

4 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the service without a written agreement with us.
• Use the service to violate the terms of any connected third-party service, including but not limited to Ring, Wyze, Sifely, Apple iMessage, WhatsApp, Gmail, or Home Assistant. You remain responsible for your own compliance with those services' terms.
• Use the service to harass, surveil, defame, harm, or unlawfully monitor any person, including non-consenting individuals on or near your property. Doorbell and camera integrations must be operated in compliance with local privacy and recording laws.
• Engage in automated scraping, denial-of-service, or other abusive load against the service.
• Upload malware, phishing content, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable export-control, sanctions, or anti-money-laundering laws.
• Use the service to create deepfake content depicting real individuals without consent, or for any unlawful manipulation of identity.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. We may report unlawful activity to authorities where legally required.

5 Connected services

Mini's World can connect to third-party services on your behalf (Ring, Wyze, Sifely, Home Assistant, Google, and others over time). When you authorize a connection:

• You grant us permission to access that service using the scope you approve, only to perform tasks you have configured.
• You remain responsible for your account at the third-party service, including its terms, billing, and acceptable use.
• We are not affiliated with Ring, Wyze, Sifely, Apple, Google, Microsoft, or any other third party except as their published developer programs and API agreements allow. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
• Your use of a connected service through Mini's World remains subject to that service's own terms of use, which take precedence regarding the connected service itself.
• If a third-party service revokes our access, suspends an integration, or changes their API, related Mini's World features may stop working until we adapt or you reconfigure.

6 AI outputs

Mini's World generates suggestions, summaries, drafts, and other content using AI models. You acknowledge:

• AI outputs are not professional advice. They are not medical, legal, financial, tax, or psychological advice. They are not a substitute for licensed professionals. Use your own judgment.
• AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. We do not guarantee correctness.
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving any action a Mini takes on your behalf, especially actions that send messages, move money, or change device state.
• Kitchen Mini specifically: meal planning is for household coordination, not nutrition prescription. Consult a doctor or dietitian for medical dietary guidance, especially for minors, pregnancy, eating disorders, or chronic conditions.
• Security Mini specifically: Mini's World is not a substitute for professional security monitoring. We do not dispatch police, fire, or medical responders. Alarm response remains your responsibility.
• Trading Mini specifically: generates trade ideas only. You approve every order. Trading involves risk of loss including total loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

7 Intellectual property

Our IP

Mini's World — including its code, designs, trademarks, logos, and original written content — is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you put into the service: your data, your AI conversations, your family roster, your device list. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process your content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not claim authorship of your content.

Open-source components

The service includes open-source components governed by their own licenses. We will publish a list of components and licenses at /legal/oss as the platform matures.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you. We are not required to use feedback, but if we do, it does not create rights for you in the resulting service.

8 Payments and billing

• During beta: the service is free.
• Future paid plans: we will provide reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days) before introducing charges for any feature you currently use for free.
• Subscriptions (when introduced) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds are generally not provided except where required by law. We may offer refunds at our discretion if there is a sustained service failure.
• Taxes (sales tax, VAT, GST) are added where required by law.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe under their own terms.

9 Termination

• Your right to terminate: you can delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing founder@minisworld.ai.
• Our right to terminate: we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security or legal risk to the service or other users. Where reasonable, we provide notice and a chance to cure.
• What happens on termination: we delete your data per the retention rules in our Privacy Policy. Some records may be retained longer where required by law (audit logs, billing records).
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) survive.

10 Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate or fit for any particular use.

Specifically, and without limiting the above:

• Security Mini is not a replacement for professional alarm monitoring. We do not dispatch emergency responders. You remain responsible for arranging professional monitoring if you need it.
• Smart-lock control through any integration is provided as a convenience and may fail or be delayed. Do not rely on it as your sole means of access; keep a physical key available.
• Connected-service availability depends on third parties. If Ring, Wyze, Apple, Google, or another partner has an outage, related features may be unavailable.

11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Mini World, Inc., its officers, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or substitute-service costs, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or related to the service in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), or (b) the amount you actually paid us for the service during that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (for example: gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or non-waivable consumer-protection rights). If your jurisdiction does not allow some of these limitations, the limitations apply to the maximum extent the law permits, and the remaining provisions stay in effect.

12 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mini World, Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the service; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right or any law, including the terms of services you have connected to Mini's World.

We will give you prompt notice of any claim, allow you to control the defense (with our reasonable cooperation), and not settle a claim that imposes obligations on you without your consent.

13 Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of CONFIRM JURISDICTION — Delaware vs California vs other, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Informal resolution first

Before filing a formal claim, please email us at founder@minisworld.ai with a description of the dispute and what resolution you are seeking. We will attempt to resolve in good faith for at least 30 days before either party escalates.

Binding arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by CONFIRM ARBITRATION FORUM — JAMS / AAA / etc. under its applicable rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief that a court could.

Exceptions

• Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
• Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property or violations of confidentiality.
• Where applicable consumer-protection law makes arbitration unenforceable, you may bring claims in your local court instead.

Class-action waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you and we agree that disputes will be brought in our individual capacities and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Opt-out window

You can opt out of the arbitration agreement and class-action waiver above by emailing founder@minisworld.ai within 30 days of first creating your account, with the subject line "Arbitration opt-out" and your account email in the body. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

14 Changes

We may update these terms over time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email and prominently in the app before they take effect. Non-material changes (typo fixes, restructuring) take effect when posted. Continued use of the service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance.

If you do not agree to a change, you should stop using the service before the change takes effect and may delete your account.
